She has spent the last year deeply in love with her hunky American boyfriend.
But now Emma Watson has said she doubts she will date a British man ever again – because they are too shy.
The Harry Potter star said that even though men from the UK dress well and have good manners they take two months just to ask her out.
Instead an American will come up to her straight away and suggest a date – a boldness she finds attractive.

English rose: Emma Watson seen at ELLE Women in Hollywood party has revealed she doesn’t think she will date a British guy in future
Miss Watson, 22, is currently dating student Will Adamowicz who she met whilst studying English at Oxford University after both transferred from Brown University in Rhode Island.
She has previously been linked to George Craig, the British singer of rock band One Night Only, and American actor Johnny Simmons.
Both relationships petered out after a few months.

‘Usually in the whole courting situation, I‘m used to being first of all, ignored for the first two months of the ritual.
‘And then maybe they’ll acknowledge my presence. Then, they’ll probably be a little mean to me. And then, maybe we’ll, you know…whatever.’
Miss Watson, who is currently on a break from her degree to focus on her acting career, added that things were very different when she came to Brown to study.
She said: ‘Then I arrive in America, and I remember a few nights into Brown [University], this guy just being like, ‘I like you. You’re great. Let’s go on a date. Let’s do it.’
‘I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, what just happened?’ This is like a huge culture shock for me.
‘They’re very like open and very straight-forward – but they wear flip-flops and I don’t know if I like that.’
Miss Watson, who grew up in Oxfordshire, first came to the US aged 10 to promote the first Harry Potter film.
She has since grown to love America and has a soft spot for Pittsburgh where she filmed her latest movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, though she finds Los Angeles too much.
